BICYCLE SAFETY DAY

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office recently partnered with the Park District of Ottawa County, Ottawa County Health Department, Friends of Ottawa County Parks and the Hopfinger-Zimmerman Memorial Park to host a Bicycle Safety Day. Twenty children pre-registered for the event which was held on August 3rd, at Hopfinger-Zimmerman Memorial Park (4909 W. Oak Harbor SE Road).

Attendees were able to participate in four different instructional stations including an obstacle course. All participants received brand new bicycles and helmets that were provided by Sheriff Stephen Levorchick and  Hopfinger-Zimmerman Memorial Park. A fun and educational time was had by all!
